There are two services you need for a working web site - a domain name and a web hosting plan for it. If you type the domain in your web browser, you see the content that’s uploaded inside the website hosting account, but if that Internet domain isn't linked to such an account or to an e-mail service, it's parked. Put simply, the Internet domain is registered and you are its owner, but it does not have any content of its own. Instead, it can open either a pre-made “Under Construction / For Sale” page from the registrar company, or it could be directed to any other URL of your choice. The main benefit of parking a domain name is that you can keep it and be sure that nobody else is going to take it. At the same time, it's not going to take a slot for a hosted domain name in your account. You may also park domains if you have a .com, for instance, and you register domain names with other extensions like .net, .org or country-code ones to direct them to the main website as a way to protect a brand name.

Parked Domains in Cloud Website Hosting

With each and every cloud website hosting plan we offer you are able to park as many domains as you wish and unlike other companies, we do not have any fees for that. However, you can do this only for domains that are registered through us as parking a domain is possible only through the registrar, but not through the host unless you have the two services with the same company. We've got a feature-rich Domain Manager tool where you can easily park and un-park domain addresses, choose one of the templates we offer and add custom text to it, or direct a domain to a URL of your choice. If you host a parked domain, our system will modify its name servers and set up a folder in the File Manager automatically. You can also set filters and see only the parked or only the hosted domains, which will allow you to manage them easy and fast.

Parked Domains in Semi-dedicated Servers

With each and every semi-dedicated server we offer you will have the freedom to park as many domain addresses that are registered through us as you would like. Due to the fact that only the registrar company can offer a parking feature, you can't park domain names which are only hosted on our advanced cloud hosting platform. Using the Domain Manager section of your Hepsia hosting CP you can park and un-park domains with only a few mouse clicks and filter all domains that you have by their status, for better control. We offer a number of templates that you can use and if you wish, you could also add some custom text to any of them. If you want to un-park a domain and host it inside your account, you'll not have to do anything manually - our system will create a domain folder within the File Manager section and will set up all the necessary DNS records so that the domain address functions properly and starts opening the content which you upload for it on our servers.
